These Terms of Use and Sale (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the GarageOne service, available at garageone.fr and through its web application (the "Service"), as well as the purchase of its paid plans.
They apply to consumers and to businesses (for example fleet managers). Provisions specific to consumers (withdrawal right, legal guarantees, mediation) are identified as such.
By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms. If you do not accept them, you must not use the Service.
GarageOne is published by Michael Derrien. Full details of the publisher and the host are in the legal notice. For any question: contact@garageone.fr.
GarageOne is a vehicle management application that notably allows:
Using the Service requires an account, created with a valid email address and a password, or through Google sign-in. You must be at least 16 years old.
You agree to provide accurate information and to confirm your email address. Until it is confirmed, adding vehicles, fill-ups and maintenance records is restricted.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity carried out from your account. An account is strictly personal. If it is compromised, contact us and sign out your other devices from the settings.
The publisher may suspend or delete an account in case of breach of these Terms, and will tell you the reason. You can contest a suspension by writing to contact@garageone.fr.
The Service offers the following plans (prices in euros per month, VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the French Tax Code):
Free: no charge
Up to 2 vehicles, fuel and maintenance tracking, map.
Premium: €4.99 / month
Up to 5 vehicles, advanced statistics, exports, vehicle sharing, public logbook link, attached invoices.
Fleet: €4.00 / vehicle / month (minimum 5 vehicles)
Number of vehicles chosen at purchase and adjustable from the app, everything in Premium, advanced analytics, driver management.
Lifetime: no recurring payment
Unlimited Premium access granted by the publisher to a specific account. Non-transferable and non-refundable, it may be withdrawn in case of breach of these Terms.
The applicable price is the one displayed at the time of purchase. The publisher may change its prices: any increase is notified at least 30 days in advance and only applies from the next renewal. You may cancel before it takes effect.
If your plan no longer covers all your vehicles or shares (for example after cancelling), the excess vehicles (the most recent ones) are locked: you can still view, edit, export and delete them, but can no longer add fill-ups or maintenance records. Vehicle sharing and driver management are suspended as long as the plan does not include them. Your data is not deleted and everything is restored if you subscribe again.
Paid plans are purchased online through Stripe, which processes card payments. The publisher never has access to your card details. The contract is concluded when you confirm payment on the Stripe page. Your invoices and receipts are available from the subscription management portal.
The subscription is monthly and automatically renewed each month, on the same day as the purchase, until cancelled. Payment is collected automatically.
You can cancel at any time, directly online, from Settings > Subscription (Stripe portal). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid, during which you keep access to paid features. Unless a withdrawal right or a legal provision says otherwise, the period already started is not refunded.
If a payment fails, access to paid features may be suspended or the plan downgraded after Stripe's automatic retries.
If you act as a consumer, you have 14 days from the purchase to withdraw without giving any reason (articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code).
Since the Service is available immediately after purchase, you expressly request, by confirming payment, that performance starts before the end of the withdrawal period. If you then withdraw, you must pay an amount proportionate to the service provided until you informed us of your decision (article L.221-25). Any balance is refunded within 14 days.
To withdraw, send us an unambiguous statement by email to contact@garageone.fr. You may use the template below.

To GarageOne (contact@garageone.fr): I hereby notify you of my withdrawal from the contract for the [Premium / Fleet] plan of GarageOne, purchased on [date]. Account email: [email]. Name: [name]. Date: [date].
This right does not apply to businesses, except under the conditions of article L.221-3 of the French Consumer Code.
You remain the owner of the data you enter (vehicles, fill-ups, maintenance, invoices, photos). The publisher claims no ownership over it.
You grant the publisher a non-exclusive license, limited to the duration of your use of the Service, solely to host, process and display this data in order to provide the Service. It ends when your data is deleted.
You can download all of your data (JSON format) at any time from Settings > Account, whatever your plan, and delete your account. Detailed CSV and PDF exports are reserved for paid plans.
When you share a vehicle (co-owner, driver) or enable a public logbook link, the people concerned can access the data you choose to share. You are responsible for this sharing and can remove it at any time.
The public logbook link is accessible to anyone who has it and is signed in to a GarageOne account: only share it with people you trust.
If you use driver management for business purposes, you are responsible, towards your drivers, for informing them that the fill-ups they enter are recorded and for complying with applicable regulations (personal data, labor law).
You agree to enter only lawful content and not to infringe third-party rights. The publisher may remove any manifestly unlawful content reported to contact@garageone.fr.
You agree to use the Service in accordance with applicable law and not to:
The publisher strives to keep the Service available 24/7, without guaranteeing continuous availability: interruptions for maintenance, updates or technical incidents may occur.
Some features rely on third-party data (fuel prices published on data.economie.gouv.fr, maps and places from OpenStreetMap). They are provided for information only: their accuracy, completeness and freshness are not guaranteed. Check prices on site.
Calculations, statistics, maintenance predictions and reminders provided by the Service are based on the data you enter and are purely indicative. They do not replace the manufacturer's maintenance schedule, a professional's advice, or your legal obligations (inspection, insurance).
To the extent permitted by law, the publisher's liability is limited to direct and foreseeable damage. It is not liable for indirect damage (loss of profit, opportunity or entered data). We recommend exporting your data regularly.
Nothing in these Terms limits the publisher's liability in case of fraud, gross negligence or personal injury, nor the rights that the law mandatorily grants to consumers.
As a consumer, you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity applicable to digital content and services (articles L.224-25-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and from the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code).
All elements of the Service (source code, design, logo, GarageOne brand, texts) are the exclusive property of the publisher and protected by intellectual property law. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Service for the duration of your account. Any other reproduction or use is prohibited.
Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors, under the ODbL license.
The processing of your personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
The publisher may amend these Terms. For any substantial change, you are informed by email or in the application at least 15 days before it takes effect, and you may be asked to accept them again.
Continuing to use the Service after that date constitutes acceptance, without prejudice to your right to cancel at any time.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings > Account. Deletion is immediate and permanent: your vehicles, fill-ups, maintenance records, invoices and photos are deleted, and any paid subscription is cancelled with no further charge. Any technical backups are purged within 30 days at most.
Only data that the law requires us to keep is retained, notably payment records held by Stripe and the publisher's accounting (10 years).
The publisher may terminate an account in case of serious or repeated breach of these Terms, without refund of the current period unless the law provides otherwise.
These Terms are governed by French law. In case of difficulty, please contact contact@garageone.fr first: we will seek an amicable solution.
If you are a consumer and no solution has been found with us, you may use, free of charge, a consumer mediator (articles L.611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code): the details of the competent mediator will be provided on request at contact@garageone.fr.
Failing an amicable agreement, French courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you may bring the matter before the court of your place of residence; for businesses, the courts of the publisher's registered location have exclusive jurisdiction.
The French version prevails. The English version is provided for information.
